Tickets for the 2019 Grand National are now available to buy. The 172nd running of the world’s most famous horse race will take place on Saturday 6th April.

Aintree has recently released tickets for Grand National and they’re selling out quickly. As of today, the Aintree website reports NO availability in premium areas such as Lord Sefton Terrace, West Tip Seats and The Queen Mother stand. Yet, The Derby Stand has limited availability for punters willing to part with £100.

Racegoers looking for tickets at more reasonable prices can still purchase entry to the Tattersalls ‘Festival Zone’ (£62.50). The Zone gives access to watch world-class racing along with plenty of food and drink. You can also take advantage of the opportunity to see the horses in the Parade Ring before the big race.



The ‘Steeplechase’ enclosure (£35) offers fans prime viewing of the first fences of the Grand National Course. Unreserved seating is available and the enclosure has a relaxed dress code. Although this area does NOT give access to the Parade Ring or Grandstands side of the racecourse. This area is also open to the elements. It’s worth noting that only races run over the Grand National course can be viewed from this enclosure. All other races run over the Mildmay course can be seen on the large screens.

At the other end of the price scale, some interesting options are available for those with deep pockets. At £249+ (vat) ‘McCoy’s’ offers the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere on Grand National day. The price includes a complimentary cocktail, al fresco dining experience and access to the Earl of Derby Terrace among other benefits. If you want to go even more exclusive, why not splash out on the ‘Silver Birch Garden Party’ experience. If you’re happy to spend £569+ (vat) then you’ll able to dine in style with views of the home straight. The fun doesn’t end when the racing is over, a DJ will keep the atmosphere going long after the winner is crowned.
