We all know that if you want to go all out and dress to the nines, there’s no better place to strut your stuff than at Ladies Day. There is absolutely no shortage of stunning dresses, hats, and accessories on show as everybody heads off to enjoy a day at the races.
The bonus is that on Ladies Day, you have a real chance of bagging some incredible prizes in the Style Awards. The 2020 Grand National festival will boast the biggest ever prize for the best-dressed lady so what exactly could you win?
Ladies Day 2020 Prize package
This year the winner of Ladies Day Style Award will drive away in a brand new white Jaguar E-Pace D150 Auto which is worth £35,500. And that’s not all. The winner will also pick up a year’s supply of dresses designed by Chi Chi London. Chi Chi London is the Official Style Partner of Style Award so they are really ramping up the branding this year.
As part of their offering, Chi Chi London will also be offering racegoers complimentary hair and make-up ‘touch-ups’ at their Beauty Bar. They will also have an instagrammable photo stand, perfect for the compulsory selfies and will be dolling out free flip flops for the way home.

Last year over 3,000 racegoers entered the Style awards with Sue Moon ultimately crowned the winner. She purchased her whole outfit in one shop, Seasons in Clitheroe, and was genuinely overwhelmed and thrilled to be the winner. In fact, thinking she had no chance of winning, it was her husband who encouraged her to enter in the first place.
In 2018 it was 19-year old Robyn May Quinn from Northern Island that claimed first prize. She dazzled in a nude-coloured floral dress, with sheer details and a wicker bag.
Anybody can win the Style Award. It’s all about confidence and finding someone that’s really comfortable in what they’re wearing.
